Kawanza D Dukes, LPC
I am a therapeutically trained behavioral health professional with more than 20 years of experience specializing in the identification, assessment, and behavioral treatment of symptoms associated with Attention-Deficit/
My clinical approach integrates comprehensive assessment, collaborative treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based interventions, and strengths-based problem-solving techniques to empower clients to navigate challenges and create lasting change.
In addition to my professional practice, I have dedicated significant time to community service and advocacy. From 2016 to 2025, I served as the Lead Facilitator for the Reconnection Workshops under the Services to Armed Forces Division of the American Red Cross-Houston Chapter Resiliency Program, supporting veterans, service members, and their families through resilience-building and psychoeducation. In recognition of my years of volunteer service, I received a White House recognition award honoring my commitment to supporting those who have served our nation. Following my retirement from the Red Cross program, I have continued my dedication to vulnerable populations through Foster Care Advocacy, a role I’ve committed to since 2026.
